GIBSGRAPHICS is the online portfolio of Anthony Salamin, graphic design student at ECAV, currently living in the french speaking part of Switzerland and looking for some freelance work and new challenges.
Hi folks! I obtained my high school diploma in June 2007 in Sion. I later spent three months in England in order to pass my CAE in March 2008.
My visit at the Northumbria University of Art and Design in Newcastle (UK) confirmed my wish to progress in the creative sphere.
Therefore, in June 2009, I successfully achieved my first preparation year at the EAA (Ecole des Arts Appliqués) in Geneva.
Before carrying on my studies, I chose to spend seven marvelous months of internship at the Atelier Vincent Zuppinger in Nyon.
Currently studying at ECAV in Wallis, I'd love to collaborate with other graphics designers and also do some freelance work.
Consequently, if you have a project to propose to me, please contact me to talk about it, or we could also go have a beer instead...
Here is a list of my most recent works executed in freelance, together with a couple of personal projects.
My last Commissioned project won in a contest was the realization of the poster and leaflets for the Animai Festival 2011 happening in Vevey.
In total, 6000 leaflets, 500 posters A3 and 160 F4 were distributed in the cities of Vevey, Montreux and Lausanne.

3D computer graphics is a passion of mine for more than five years now. From modeling to the final render, I ensure the entire production steps.
My last project as a intern at the Atelier Vincent Zuppinger was the production of a 40 seconds video clip for the RED8 watch brand.
It took overall seven months of hard work to finalize the modeling, rigging, lightning setup and the rendering of the 3D sequences of this project.

This is a selection of photographs from my recent travels abroad, as well as a couple of personal photo shoots.
The main countries I visited were Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Greece and finally England.
In the future, I'd really love to discover the landscapes from South America, those from Middle-East and hopefully the Asian culture.

Following are a series of video clips showing my last 3D and graphic design works as well as experimental videos...
3D animation for the RED8 remains from far the most difficult project to manage for its complexity, its rendering as well as the amount of data involved.
Besides the difficulty of those sequences rendering, it is the 3D modeling from 2D designs of the watch that was for me the real challenge to overcome.
